I’ll be playing a solo concert in Tøyen Kirke, Oslo this Tuesday at 19:00. It’s a part of my master’s degree at Norges Musikkhøyskole, and is a real challenge for me as it’s the first time I’ve performed a whole concert all on my own (!). The music will be improvisations based on melodies,forms or ideas. There’s a video at the bottom of the page with an example of something I might play. The illustration is by Tor-Björn Åkerstrøm, from an earlier concert. Jo Skaansar will also perform a short solo on double bass
