Peter Larsen at Bergens Tidende has reviewed Roots and Stems, giving it yet another 5 out of 6. Among the many nice things he writes about the album are quotes such as:
“Det blåser frisk kuling på platen” (There’s a fresh breeze blowing over this album [approx.])
“en solid annenplate som slår fast at den norske jazzscenen har fått en ny, sterk stemma” (a solid second album that establishes a new, strong voice on the Norwegian jazz scene).
